Best Buy Remix, SXSW & Circus Mashimus
SXSW – Here we Come

This year Best Buy Remix will be attending SXSW (South by South West) and we plan on making our first visit a real blast! From March 13th through March 17th Best Buy Remix will be a diamond sponsor of the Circus Mashimus Developer lounge. The developers lounge is put together by Mashery and will have free internet connections, plenty of electrical outlets and demos of some of the more popular API’s including Best Buy Remix, Billboard Magazine, Ribbit, and The New York Times. So if you need somewhere to power up your devices and rest your feet be sure to head to Circus Mashimus.
Prizes & Beer?
Yep, all the bases are covered. On Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 15th there will be contests, beer, food and fellow developers working with the API’s and competing for prizes. Create a mashup using one or more of the participating API’s and you can be eligible to win prizes. So far some of the prizes announced are:
- 15″ Macbook Pro
- Several Insignia 42 inch 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV’s (Model:NS-LCD42HD-09)
- And more to be added at SXSW

Hang out and learn from the Best Buy Remix Gang
Best Buy remix will have a strong presence at the Circus Mashimus event. Not only are we a diamond sponsor, but we will be featuring and showing demos of the Remix API. The beta launch of Remix happened in September of 2008 and we have been rapidly building and adding functionality ever since. So please feel free to connect with us, learn about the power of our API and the integrated affiliate program. We would love to see you there!
